Summer hours: (6/6/18)Starting at 0830 with Setup and Practice, Match at 0900
Winter hours: Starting at 0900 with Setup and Practice, Match at 0930
at the El Paso Gun Club.
No membership required to Ratchet it Up!
Improve your handgun accuracy within weeks.
We shoot two matches. You can shoot one or two. Cost is 2 bucks cash total.
We try and finish by 1230.
Bring a 22 pistol/revolver and 100 rounds per match plus sighters.
Or bring a 22, a 45, 9 mm, or a 38. Each match is 90 rounds plus practice shots.
You can shoot one-handed or two-handed and iron sights, red dots, or pistol scopes are allowed.
First match is 9 targets at 25 yards for 900 points shooting a 22 caliber revolver/pistol
Second match is the same shooting a 22, or a 38, 9, or 45.
Pistols and revolvers only, nothing above a 45 caliber.
Targets can be moved closer than 25 yards for those uncertain.
No prizes, places, or even acknowledgment of your scores. This is your business. You do not have to keep score at all. Just come and shoot.
Safety is numero uno for all Ratcheteers. Eye protection, ear protection (plugs and muffs) are required, bring your own muffs. 45s are loud under the steel roof! All commands by Range Officer must be followed. Safety, Safety, Safety! Also bring water,
a stapler to place new targets (supplied)
and spotting scope or binoculars to see how you are doing.
